Queen Rearing Presentation - May 9, 2008

We had a great presentation at our May meeting by Adam Finkelstein and Kelly Rausch of vpqueenbees.com. It served as a great introduction to the art and science of queen raising. This is a very timely topic with the current launch of the West Virginia Queen Producers Association. Adam will be our instructor for he WVQP training sessions. We went for more than 2 hours as there were many questions from the group. A few AMBA members have experimented with queen raising but only on a small scale.
